VINRAAG
Somewhere between the warmth of my grandmother’s presence and the vibrant sketches on my mother’s canvas, I discovered who I am. My dadi was a woman of rare courage—bold, kind, and magnetic in spirit.
Even strangers would sit with her, drawn in by the gentleness of her heart and the strength of her voice.
My mother, with hands always busy bringing beauty to life, taught me the magic of creation and the joy of expression. From one, I inherited fearless compassion; from the other, boundless imagination. And through them, I learned that every thread I weave carries the fire and grace of the women who came before me.
As I stepped into the world beyond that courtyard, I noticed our heritage quietly
slipping away from daily life.
Traditional craft was reserved for festivals, while most modern wear drew only from
global trends.
I longed for a design language that would be a perfect mixture of both.
That longing became VINRAAG. The name itself resonates like a melody: “V” for
Vishnu’s eternal rhythm. “N” for
Neha’s personal vision, and “Raag” for the Sanskrit idea of a melodic framework
born from the five elements.
Together, they spell a promise—that every VINRAAG piece will sing of our roots,
even as it moves confidently into
the future.
